Joanne began her career as a teacher at New Hope Elementary School District in Thornton, California for 14 years before getting her administrator credential and working as a Vice Principal, Principal and Superintendent for the next 16 years.
Eric Ewald is going into his fifth year as an elementary school principal and this will be his first year as building principal at James Van Allen Elementary, a PK-6th grade school that is a part of the Iowa City Community School District. Prior to becoming a principal, Eric was a School Administration Manager and prior to that he taught 6th grade Language Arts.
Bill Powers is entering his 8th year as Lead Learner at Cherokee Middle School in Springfield, Missouri, his 16th year in education, and he is currently pursuing his Doctorate (EdD) in Educational Leadership. Bill is a native of Tennessee and a co-organizer of #EdCampSGF.

Recognizing that professional development opportunities for educators often lacked practical strategies for positive mental health practices, Elizabeth co-founded ResourcED, LLC in 2014 to provide just that.

Jackson recently accepted a position as the Executive Principal of Mount Pleasant High School in Mount Pleasant, TN and was previously an assistant principal in an inner-city high school located in Nashville, TN. Having served in many roles in education – from a classroom teacher to a principal and now a central office leader – Bryan understands the challenges teachers and school leaders face as they strive to meet the needs of all students.
