A graduate from Union High School in 1997, Jay attended The American University in Washington DC with a BA in interdisciplinary studies. He began his teaching career in Roselle, NJ teaching a variety of subjects, including social studies, computers, and literacy.
Sebastian Cognetta holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California and was instrumental in launching Aveson Charter Schools, a nationally recognized model for Personalized Mastery Learning, and two of California’s first educator cooperatives, Aveson Educational Cooperative and Educators Cooperative. He is the school director for Aveson School of Leaders, Aveson’s elementary campus.

He is a national speaker and author, providing professional development to educators across the country.
Dr. Beverly J. Hutton is the Deputy Executive Director of NASSP’s Programs and Services. She has more than 30 years of school experience as a teacher, assistant principal, principal and district administrator. Dr. Hutton’s leadership experience at the school and central office levels uniquely positions her to lead the programs and services NASSP offers to benefit all school leaders.
George Couros is the author of the highly acclaimed book, The Innovator’s Mindset, and the Division Principal of Innovative Teaching and Learning with Parkland School Division in Stony Plain, Alberta in Canada. He has worked with all levels in K-12 as a teacher, technology facilitator, and administrator.
